First generation farmers privileged to live and work on Jinibara country in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We are a small family run farm amongst the Glass House Mountains in Peachester, which is renowned for its fertile land. The rich volcanic soil full of minerals and nutrients, fertile pastures, paired with plenty of fresh air and sunshine is perfect to raise the best quality lamb. Our aim is for you to be better connected to your food, by allowing you to actually know your farmer and understand where your produce comes from.
Our animal raising philosophy is based on soil care and fertility first, which enhances our ecosystem. This underpinning allows us to raise our animals as part of a biodiverse polyculture. These methods support and complement each other, and make better use of soil nutrients without chemicals or other artificial inputs, to ensure sustainability. We improve our pastures by using a rotational grazing system that works alongside our chickens, which enjoy the shorter grass and picking through what our lamb leave behind. We then reseed the paddocks in preparation to ensure that our animals have access to a multi species, lush pasture year round. The best quality soil and grasses mean the best quality lamb on your table.
We select only the finest livestock, use low stress stock handling practices, and our husbandry methods make sure each of our animals are respected, happy, healthy, and well cared for. We focus on quality not quantity, to provide our community with excellent produce. You can then be assured that you are receiving consistently amazing local produce.
